Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the 130th anniversary of the first long-distance drive! The video honors and tells the true story of Bertha Benz. Bertha is the wife of inventor and Mercedes-Benz founder, Karl Benz.

Bertha drove more than 60 miles across Germany on an impromptu road trip to showcase the brand’s first automobile. This tributes Bertha’s motivation to both showcase and continue to develop the brand into what it is today.
